Horizontal directional drilling rig
Horizontal directional drilling rig is a kind of construction machinery for laying many kinds of underground utilities (pipes, cables, etc.) without excavating the ground surface, which is widely used in water supply, electric power, telecommunication, natural gas, gas, petroleum, and other flexible pipeline laying construction, which is suitable for sandy soil, clay, and other ground conditions, but not suitable for high water table and pebble strata, and most of the non-hard-rock areas in China can be constructed. The working environment temperature is -15℃~+45℃. Horizontal directional drilling technology is a new construction technology that combines the directional drilling technology of the petroleum industry and the traditional pipeline construction method, which has the advantages of fast construction speed, high construction accuracy, low cost, etc. It is widely used in the pipeline laying construction projects of water supply, gas, electric power, telecommunication, natural gas, petroleum and so on.
Horizontal directional drilling equipment has also gained rapid development in more than ten years, and become an emerging industry in developed countries. Its development trend is moving towards the large-scale and miniaturization, adapting to hard rock operation, self-provided anchoring system, automatic stacking and extraction of drill pipes, automatic lubrication of drill pipe connection, automatic operation function such as anti-electricity shock system, ultra-deep guiding and monitoring, and a wide range of applications, etc. The equipment is generally suitable for pipe diameter, gas, electricity, telecommunications, natural gas and petroleum pipeline laying projects. This kind of equipment is generally applicable to steel pipes and PE pipes with diameters from φ300 to φ1200mm, and the maximum length of pipe laying can reach 1500m, which can be adapted to a variety of soil conditions ranging from soft soil to hard rock, and has a broad application prospect.
