1. When start drilling, try to use a small air volume and propulsion force to make the drill bit enter the rock layer smoothly, which can reduce the impact on the piston.

2. It is very important to match the propulsion force and the model of the drill. The thrust of the propeller must change with the weight of the drill. Remember that the small Hammer should not have a large thrust, in case of the piston or drill to break on the spot.

3. Because there is a right-hand thread between the joint of the Hammer and the joint, during the drilling process, the Hammer should always be rotated to the right, and the drill should not be reckless.

4. During the drilling process of the water well drilling rig, due to stones, sand particles and cracks in the rock formation, the drill may be stuck. Therefore, it is very important to regularly use the Hammer to blow strongly and clean the bottom of the hole. Do not turn the stuck drill sharply, so as not to drop the front joint and drill bit into the hole.

5. The rotation speed usually used by the Hammer is generally 15-25rpm. The faster the rotation speed, the faster the rock drilling speed. However, in hard rock, the rotation speed should be reduced to ensure that the drill bit is not excessively worn. The operator should observe the drilling situation in time at this moment

6. The lubrication of the down-the-hole Hammer must not be ignored, and the lubricating oil should be checked in time, otherwise, the wear and tear of the Hammer will be accelerated or even scrapped!

7. During the rod connection process, sand and iron filings will fall into the Hammer, so the ends of the loosened drill pipe threads must be capped to ensure that the drill pipe does not stick to sand and dust.
