Percussion Type Drilling Rig Machine
Percussive drilling rigs, also known as percussive drilling, are divided into two methods: drill pipe percussion drilling and wire rope percussion drilling. The wire rope percussion drilling method is generally used in water well construction. It uses a drill bit with a certain weight to periodically impact the bottom of the well within a certain height to break the rock formation. After each impact, the drill bit or the pumping cylinder is driven by the wire rope to rotate at a certain angle, so that the drilling can get regular drilling. circular section.
In the construction of water wells, this method is mainly used for the drilling of water wells with weak water-bearing formations and larger diameters, and the drilling effect is better in pebble, gravel layers and dense bedrock layers. For drilling in Quaternary strata, I-shaped drill bits and barrel drill bits are mostly used, and cross-shaped drill bits or round drill bits are mostly used in bedrock layers. Although percussion drilling is slow and inefficient, it has the advantages of simple equipment, large diameter of wells and low cost, which can better meet the construction needs of larger diameter shallow machined wells in water-deficient areas.
Percussion drilling is the oldest drilling method in the development of well drilling. The drilling machine has a simple structure and generally does not have a circulating well cleaning system. The removal of cuttings and the drilling machine cannot be carried out at the same time, so the efficiency is low and the drilling depth is average. It is relatively shallow and is mostly suitable for construction in pebble gravel layers or weathered rock layers.
